Hemos trabajado los propósitos de año nuevo, en inglés New Year's Resolutions. Esto es lo que nos hemos propuesto los alumnos de 1º A para el nuevo año.

CHRISTINGLES EN LA CLASE DE ARTS

Hoy en clase de Arts, Amy nos ha enseñado a crear "Christingles", una tradición inglesa que se celebra en Nochebuena para acudir a la "Midnight Mass" conocida en español como Misa de Gallo. Christingle significa "La luz de Cristo" y es un símbolo de la fe cristiana. La tradición de acudir a misa con estos símbolos comenzó en Alemania en 1747, pero no fue introducida en la Iglesia Anglicana hasta 1968. Los Christingles tienen diferentes partes y cada una simboliza una cosa:

- La naranja representa el mundo.

- La vela representa la luz de Jesús.

- La cinta roja que envuelve al mundo representa la sangre de Jesús.

- Los cuatro palillos pueden ser o las cuatro estaciones o los cuatro rincones del mundo.

- Los dulces representan los regalos de Dios al mundo.

 Hemos abordado esta actividad desde un punto de vista cultural, respetando las diferentes creencias religiosas de los alumnos. Las hemos construido en grupos y ¡¡lo hemos pasado genial!!

Hoy en clase de Arts, hemos seguido trabajando el tema "My Family". El trabajo consiste en crear un divertido libro sobre una familia ¡de monstruos! que nos ha prestado la profe  de Inglés, Belén. Cuando estén acabados os mostraremos los resultados. See you tomorrow!
